Sara Nelson has spent her entire career working with color and design. She owns Sara Nelson Design, an award-winning design firm specializing in branding and packaging for the luxury wine and craft beverage industry (SaraNelson.com) and Aettraction Aesthetic Media, a boutique design firm focusing on the needs of the Aesthetic industry. (Aettraction.com). Sara actively pursues information about color, aesthetics and their effects on behavior. 
 
Sara earned degrees in Commercial Art (a.k.a. graphic design) at Spokane Falls, and studied wine business at Sonoma State and color theory at the Eiseman Center for Color Information and Training.
 
Sara is actively involved the Color Marketing Group’s® (ColorMarketing.org) international color forecasting process where participants from color-dependent industries around the world (i.e., automotive, furniture, fashion, paint, food, and packaging) come together each year to discuss where the culture is headed and what the collective psyche will be in three years in order to identify the future color preferences.
Sara also attends the Wines & Vines Packaging Conference each year and the Color Marketing Group’s International Summit when possible to stay abreast of innovations and design trends.
