Sally once worked for a dental firm where the doctor was referred as “Dr. McGrumpy” and the staff was frequently sick. Sally complained of being unusually stressed, frequent headaches and debilitating pain in her shoulder. The shoulder pain could easily be attributed to being bent over much of the day. But when combined with the other issues, I suspected a lighting issue.

Sure enough…the office was full of fluorescent lighting.

In addition to casting an unflattering shade of green on everything—including your skin, fluorescent lights make some people physically sick! For some it happens the second they are exposed. For others, it’s more subtle and accumulates over time.

Fluorescent bulbs, when lit, pulse. Most people cannot detect the pulsing, but for those who can, it’s much like a strobe light!

Light sensitivity causes headaches, migraines, tension, nausea, depression and even autoimmune and neurological conditions.
